Description

In the near future the north side of the river in Moss, a previous industrial area, would be rapidly and radically transformed into an attractive apartment neighbourhood. This planned future was received with ambivalence within the local community. Future Path focused specifically on the development of the public park along the river.

One of the problems in relation to the proposed developments was the lack of clarity and abundance of confusion regarding the actual plans for the riverside. A problem of communication between architects, planners, developers and civil society.

The plans of a future path along the river was marked in scale 1:1 on the ground, as well as the contested edge between the public and the private. A group of citizens from Moss was invited to walk the planned future path and experience the potential future public space along the river.

Future Path (for Moss River) intended to make the plans for the area visible, possible to experience and consequently to discuss.
