Description

A light installation which generated a temporary transformation of Glyptoteket. The work begun at the entrance hall, continued throughout the Winter Garden and ended at the entrance to the large Auditorium. Tripods carrying rechargeable led lamps were positioned as to form a corridor with varying width throughout the entire building. Each pair of facing lamps had a unique color temperature. The color temperature gradually changed throughout the building from a deep cold blue at the entrance to a vibrant hot red at the Auditorium. Thermometer operated as an activator, generating experiences and narratives, as it encountered architecture and moving visitors alike. It was simultaneously measuring and being measured.
