Factory Studios. New York. US
A work consisting of a series of 15 optical colored objects with varying degrees of transparency, reflection and refraction. This variety of optical elements were held by wooden tripods and located on a rooftop in Brooklyn overlooking the skyline of Manhattan. As stations for observing the city from various specific vantage points, the set-up encouraged visual experiences which were activated through the movement of the visitors. The work was a reflection upon the understanding of orientation, identification, position and representation within the urban context.
